HRM Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Does anyone know what text is supposed to be printed on the "Check List" placard for a 60's vintage E? The parts manual just shows a rectangle. Quote
Cfidave Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Here is a pic of my 65 M20E checklist. Sorry I coouldn't get it any clearer. Quote

Seymour Posted February 2, 2019 Report Posted February 2, 2019 Resurrecting this thread. @HRM do you have a copy of the M20E parts manual showing the rest of the placards? (...and can you provide a clearer picture of the checklist you made based on @Cfidave 's picture? Thanks! Dave Quote
65MooneyPilot Posted February 2, 2019 Report Posted February 2, 2019 (edited) All required placards are in the type certificate data sheet. Go to the FAA website and get a copy. If it is not required I can get you a better picture when I get home on Monday. Edited February 2, 2019 by 65MooneyPilot Quote
flight2000 Posted February 2, 2019 Report Posted February 2, 2019 Parts manual won't help you in this case as the pictures are pretty generic (see attached photos). The TCDS will give you the required verbiage that has to be there. Higher Graphics has Interior Placard sets available, so you could redo the entire interior with new decals (checklist included). http://www.highergraphics.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=122&zenid=7pbn51debgshsflccou6okg9f2 Cheers, Brian 1 Quote
Seymour Posted February 3, 2019 Report Posted February 3, 2019 Thanks for the pointers! From my reading of the TCDS and review of my current placards, I'm missing the Aerobatic restriction on page 53, (3) .... "This airplane must be operated....." Where is it typically located? Is the doorframe considered "...in front of and in clear view of the pilot" ? Or does it have to be on the panel? (On second thought, nevermind..... It's certainly not difficult to find a picture of a panel in this forum. I should be able to answer this myself.) Quote
