TTaylor Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 Was just looking at the price of the exterior screw kits. Any explanation why the kit for an F is $30 more than a G and $40 more than a C? Is this some form of discrimination against F models?
Mooneymite Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 FWIW, I looked into various "screw kits" from Spruce, but decided I was going to get a lot of what I didn't need and too little of what I did need. I guess if you're committed to replacing all the hardware at once, it may be a good deal, but I ended up just ordering what I needed. When I compared, there didn't seem to be a significant saving with the kits. 1
airbornepinata Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 The kit is good I just ordered one for my E and it was useful for replacing fasteners that I had stripped out or were in less than perfect condition. I still have about 90% leftover for future inspections. I'm not quite sure why the G and F models would be so different?
