  1. Providing good weather I'm in.
  2. David Bliss ( Wingnuts Aviation ) M91 Springfield, TN
  3. I was a big navmonster.com user until it got gobbled up.
  4. Any recent work behind the panel? I had some work done and the result was another instrument reading erratically and then not at all. Turbulence and the connection not properly secured finally worked its way loose after about 10-12 hrs of flight time. Hope this helps.
  5. Even at a fast pace one day at the museum at Wright-Patterson AFB is tough. There is a massive amount of things to see. Sounds like a fantastic trip!
  6. I've seen two show up at a small airport that I visit frequently ( they hold them for the insurance companies after crashes ). It just leaves a lump in your throat when anything shows up but especially a mooney.
  7. Sorry, I hate to hear we lost another in the B club.
  8. M91 Springfield, TN. Now as KASL
  9. Unit and tray. Minor face plate damage. Working when removed for upgrade. Make reasonable offer.
  10. Big brother is watching!
  11. I had a (tic tic tic ) noise going on. Mine turned out to be associated with the original coffee style beacon. I adjusted the ground and it got a little better but not a total fix.
  12. Friday and Saturday for me.
  13. You could see the pilots grinning from ear to ear in the clip.
  14. Congratulations! Glad to have you back in the air. Btw I loved the thread from a spectators point of view.
  15. Had a great flight today! I love using the privilege of my certificate for a good cause. The Pilots N Paws trip was 155nm and 1.2 flight time one way ( KTYR - KTME ). The yellow lab pup slept the entire trip and the people and FBO's at both places were more than friendly and accommodating. What a good day. Just wanted to share.
  16. $4.10 3F3 Mansfield, LA
  17. I was told the major difference was the wings were over engineered with about 70 pound of aluminum. I don't know how accurate that is. I love mine! Good luck.
  18. Love your paint and envy your HP!
  19. There was a discussion a while back about this and if I remember correctly it had to do with the type grease in the prop and the hot part of the year. Places in the north were using lighter grease and the people in the south were using heavier.
  20. I'm a volunteer and unorganized is putting it mildly sometimes. Some of the requested trips are a monumental task ( coast to coast ). I don't have specific numbers but I would say most pilots sign up with the thought of flying 200-300 miles each way. Getting 2 or more pilots being able to schedule on the same day is rough. Then add the rescue party at one end, the receiving person and a vet check to come together etc... All I've been able to accomplish is to volunteer when I can and if it works out I feel good for the ones that get to where they need to be. Good Luck
  21. Forgot to mention that you will need a longer than normal deep well socket to fit Tempest plugs.
  22. Tempest UREM38S. Changed mine at annual and have found that I can lean a bit more aggressively ( I have been getting around .25-.5 gph better than massives ). I have a 61B with O360-A1D and couldn't be happier. Good luck!
  23. I'm there! Only 2 days.
  24. Always amazed at the amount of knowledge on the board! Thanks All
