  2. I feel you should look into a plane you can afford by yourself. 100% alone, then have partners later down the line or right away. this way you will not struggle at all either direction.
  3. I know when i did my fuel caps the adjustment was for tension only, maybe someone saw something different.
  4. Bhilgy, This topic already has a thread. Here you go: http://mooneyspace.com/topic/12812-additions-to-foreflight/?hl=foreflight

  10. Lol that was a auto correct on my mac book, meant nav light. However, if i were to guess a "nag" light would also be low fuel light... LOL
  11. I kept my original navs, I got my ASI, VSI, and T/C overhauled. I have a Nav trouble shooting issue to deal with though
  12. 3 new tires and tubes, 3 instrument overhauls, 1 new starter, 1 new alternator, 1 engine test kit, 2 new LED nag lights, 2 wing tip light detectors.
  13. I had to pay cash for them, couldn't bring myself to rack up charges
  14. Just wanted to post a picture of how excited I am to get home and open my Mooney presents (even though I bought them). I want to thank everyone for their post(s) and opinions on, not only my topics but others that help people like me. This is truly one of the best forums I been on!
  15. so its the $150 fore flight?
  16. I ran Desser for the last 2 years, nothing to squawk about. I found a new company in VA., that is a few $$ cheaper. I ordered brand new tires & tubes all the way around for $336 all the way around.
  17. Thats the way i read it
  18. I would like to know as well i feel bad for the guy who got snagged.
  19. That is correct. Just S/N# 761. This AD only affects 38 aircraft. I have a C model and I was worried until I found the S/N #.
  20. I got just an email for the most recent AD's. It is for Fuselage, Stabilizer Attach Fittings. This AD applies to the following Mooney International Corporation airplanes, certificated in any category: Models Serial Nos. (1) M20C 2313. (2) M20E 761. (3) M20M 27-0057. (4) M20R 29-0141 and 29-0513 through 29-0519. (5) M20TN 31-0101 through 31-0127.
  21. Do you fill your tires with air or nitrogen?
  22. I use the same grade all the way around. I just posted a topic about tires. I don't buy brand new tires all the time. I get the retreads.
  23. Just wanted to recommend to anyone needing new tires to give Wilkerson Tire Company a call. They are located in Crowe, Va. Jim, (the main man) is very courteous and fair priced. Shipped the same day. They beat Desser Tire by a few bucks. http://www.wilkersonaircrafttires.com
  24. What is the height of a C model from floor to jack point? Do you use a 21" or 23" jack?
