  1. Isaac, If you call the Huntsville and talk to a Scott, they do corrosion control stuff, i can't remember his last name at the moment, anyways, they make a router tool that goes on the drill and it will take sealant up as well... its made of a nylon or something so it won't damage the metal.
  2. I also have the numbers for the screws for your tank panel
  3. I have my manual at my hangar, about 30 min from being there. Also, I sent my transmitters to a place in lock haven for overhaul and new gaskets are $7 a piece from them. Shoot me a txt and I will get you the part numbers. 386 383 9680
  4. Calling all Mooniacs with millennium cylinders, I conducted an oil analysis recently and was told millennium cylinders always have a high chrome content even with steel cylinders. Me and my customer would like to know if you experience the same and if you would screen shot your report so we can see your averages. It would be greatly appreciated.
  5. I do not have paperwork, Removed from a Glasair I RG with IO-360-B1E. I will look in the log book, the customer said off the top of his head less than 500 hours. Previous owner before him rarely used it. He never did, hence removed it. He just wants it out of his hangar.
  6. Make Offer, needs to go.
  7. That's what I was trying to do but I'm on my iPhone. I will have to do it later tonight
  8. Having a hard time loading pictures, i can text pics upon request. 386-383-9680
  9. Coming across a RAJAY turbo, will post pictures and part numbers later on tonight. Would anyone be interested in it? Thank you.
  10. Wasn't holding out, just a lot to type and I was doing an annual on a glasair
  11. I got them from sun n fun 2014.... Let me dig around the hangar and see if I can find all the info
  12. I used the poly gone gel..... didn't see good results til the bottom of the bucket. I did my right tank yesterday, applied polygone at about 10 pm.... woke up, went to breakfast and about 10-11am reached in and it came out easy peasy.
  13. I actually just did my tanks.... i used polygone and it didn't drip all over the bottom at all... and its water soluble so i used a hose to get it out, and then a heat gun on low to evap all moisture that i couldn't get out with a paper towel..... with that contraption listed above, it will not hurt the tanks what so ever.
  14. Dave, I did the tanks myself, Actually sealed the last one last night, now waiting to cure so i can apply the top coat and install the panels.
  15. You could also use Parkers O Ring jelly, comes in a yellow and black tube. Apply that to the O rings and the mating surface. It doest get a little sticky but clears a seal and you won't have to worry about water
  16. I used LED bulbs, FAA approved and fits with the old system
  17. Speaking of tanks, i recently did a patch on mine. Not to difficult with the use of PolyGone. Let it set up over night and it came off smooth as a babies bottom.... as for engines; people get wrapped up on the TBO times, which are only required by commercial flight. I had almost 2700 hours before i did mine. As a matter of fact i shipped out my crank today, so far all looking good and I'm getting away with a 5k overhaul.
  18. Any good deals on an EDM 830-4 ?

  20. Essco makes the Mooney Manual. Not to steep. They have them for most aircraft and our engines.
  21. I miss the newest uploaded pictures when i log on to Mooneyspace.......
