It doesnt , especially when you have a 15 year relationship with the shop and the people are your friends.....I still am friends with the people but that shop has not worked on any of my aircraft in 5 years.....

Those are sweet , I wish I needed them as 75 is a great deal......They would probably be 500 plus if you could even buy them new...

Logbooks get lost ....That is usually the case......On my last mooney , the shop lost the logbook...

Just to add fuel to the fire , Prop hub eci inspections are not a new thing , there are many planes requiring this , When I had mine done east coast coordinated with other shops in the area , and came out and did mine on the plane ... Boom 180 dollars and its done.......So the inconvienence factor is negated...

I found the inverter , checked it out and it is good , it is a MD26-14 , which means it is a 14 volt , you would need to use a dropping resistor to use with 28 volt , Alan 856 419 5209...

In todays market , It will be almost impossible to resell if the logs are missing , if one book is missing , it will hurt , but not as much......When I sold my last mooney , it was missing one airframe book and I think I sold about 10% less than market , I feel I was lucky to find an understanding buyer........

How old are your gear donuts , This is the main reason these things leak.....You may slow down the inevitable by replacing them if they are more than 15 to 20 years old...

I purchased one for my last mooney from spruce , it was maybe 200 or 250 if memory serves me correctly..... -
I have sold 5 planes , I will not allow a shop I use or do buisness with do a prebuy , I dont feel its fair to the buyer , I won't move the airplane unless there is a deal in place , and a deposit in place (minum of 500 dollars) , depending on the sale price , I will haggle the items found on prebuy , or I will make a deal , no deal price....If a person won't make a 500 dollar deposit on an airplane , In my opinion he is not a buyer , just a tire kicker.....

The prop strike inspection is not the "Cheap" one , It is what Lycoming requires for an inspection, It is adequate , and correct....

Reseals are temporary at best.... If you reseal , you will at best be resealing again within ten years......WET WINGS SUCK.......Step up to the plate and buy a set of O&Ns ....you will not regret it...Piper and Beech dont do wet wings (Except the musketeer) and I dont think that Cessna does either...
