The loyalty should be to the mission , not the brand.....That being said , you are giving away a LOT of mission to save on equity....If you fly missions over 200 NM with more than 2 people in the airplane , this is not a lateral move to recoup equity....It is an all out Downsize....I owned both for the last two years, Flying both rich of peak , for 3.5 GPH you are 30 mph faster , can carry 300 lbs more payload , Have a gear system that is much more robust as far as unimproved fields (grass) , do not have the wetwing problems , do not have the corrosion issues that the older Mooney fleet has , Giving up an extremely stable platform , and the easiest plane hands down to fly and land..... Don't get me wrong , I love Mooneys , and they are great planes , But the plane you are flying now is more equivalent to a Bravo , not a 40 year old short body..... The other wild card , is the Lycoming cam issues.......Although rare , if it happens to you it is a tough pill to swallow.... If equity is the goal , the solution would be to sell the plane and rent until it is more financially feasible.....With the value of aircraft depreciating as it is , the same money you sell for now , should buy a lot more airplane in the future....

Does the amount of fuel in the tanks coincide with the stumble?? Turns?? at low fuel levels , it is possible to "unport" the fuel in the tanks.....

I part out planes for a side business , I have chocks up the ying yang......With all different N Numbers on them.... Tow bars too...

These are 56 inches long.......Where do you store them when not in use???

I think I have the stack tubes to convert the mains....The nose will also need a new stack tube if not already converted......Generally the tubes are too rusty to reuse from the old style stacks...

Certain airframes are holding steady , Newer Bonanzas , 210s , big Piper singles , 172s and Archers ......Either classic trainers , or true 4 or more place aircraft...... The Mission really dictates the Values.....Another reason our legacy Mooneys are going south , is that they are having Corrosion issues , and apparently the cost to do Mooney corrosion repairs is excessive.......Bottom line , Our airframes have too much steel in them....

Yes it happened yesterday....Brian and I argued over a few pennies , and I now have a bunch of copper wire.......I cant explain it but somehow Brian got a free set of flap gap seals,,,,

The elevators were sold to Brian , we made copper wire fighting over a few pennies......The right aileron is spoken for , .....Am down to a Left flap , left aileron , and the Rudder....
