    Guys, I need a one way lift to Kerrville next Wednesday. My available departing airports are Carlsbad New Mexico, Wink Texas, Pecos Texas, maybe Odessa or Midland. I hade a short notice meeting come up in San Antonio and I need to pick up a vehicle in Kerrville and bring it back to West Texas. For the price of a one-way fare with Southwest on short-term notice I thought I might ask here on the board. David 830-377-2752

    The guys over at the Cirrus board say it is more expensive to insure a new Mooney than a new SR22 because of the complex landing gear. True or false?

    I talked to DMax several years ago. He said it took 40 hours to install the M20 STC

    Uh-oh. Do I have to turn in my Mooney Merit Badge, again? I thought the 231 was the first Mid body?

    231 is considered a "Mid" body while the 201 is not. Correctly though, the interior dimensions should be the same.

    I did pattern work last week before the cold hit. I know it is not something to brag about, but when younfly as little as I get to, pattern practice is exciting. I did a total of seven touch and goes on two different runways all with a 15 degree crosswind. I was behind the plane and flaring high on the first four, but my last three were good. Is was happy with that.

    Mine would be an F16. From my understanding, it can still out dogfight any of the later generation fighters. Yes I understand the dogfight is obsolete, but still............
