    Videos -- was a VERY bumpy/windy day: G5 Heading Mode: GPSS Armed on a LNAV 36 Approach -- like I said BUMPY/Windy: I found that a bump on the control yoke helps the up/down trim notice. Trim a little, then bump — was pretty stable even in the wind. I did the last bit of the approach by hand as the wind was shifting 0° to 40° wind 30-40 mph too… -Don

    GFC-500 (Garmin autopilot) has it automatic if you add the trim servo. Not sure if there is an STC to add the manual version. May need to see if there are any F’s that came from the factory with it… -Don

    Fiber-lights - came with the plane when I bought it. The shop re-did my pilot side panel after we discussed locations for the autopilot. New pilots side panel (extra cost) but worth it. We added the carbon fiber overlay so the panel was the same… I have the SWTA windshield/panel so a bit more room and it was already offset. Did give me room for AP. We did have to tweak the defroster a bit to gain a half inch of room but she fits. Wanted to keep the StormScope - still works well. -Don

    How many amps does the fp gauge draw? How many amps does the usb draw? Add those up (max draw) and see if the breaker is the right size for the load… or add a breaker and circuit for the fp gauge.. just a thought -Don

    Panel is done! Had to get a bit creative on the pilot side defroster as we needed about a half inch more clearance but the shop took care of that! Labels next and flight test next week. Ap is already programmed!

    I’m doing X/C 20w50 and Phillips Anti-Rust (10%) in mine vs CamGuard right now. I can use Victory and Anti-Rust once I have about 100 hours on my engine… -Don

    Shop is finished with the carbon fiber overlay. Working on fitment now. Hardware is done, just the avionics side and new panel cutout is being worked on…
