  1. I have a million liability. I think it should be enough. Now sure what others thoughts are on this amount? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. 2K / year for 120k hull value for a J Model. I have around 450 hrs total and but only about 10hrs complex time with zero in type. I am instrument rated commercial pilot. I received this quote going through AOPA. They require 10 hrs transition training with a qualified instructor before I can fly solo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. 1) Complete transition training 2) Fly to OSH 3) Fly to Boston 4) Figure out the panel upgrade (WAAS, ADS-b)
  4. I took delivery of a 1987 J Model. Been wanting one for years and now it is in my Hangar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Hmmm. I guess that makes two of us in SE Michigan looking for A Mooney[emoji15][emoji41]. BTW - I fly out of PTK. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I have lusted after a Mooney for years. Finally I am at a point in my life that I can make it possible. My wife even supports it - sort of. Unfortunately, I've never flown one and she is concerned that I'll sell the plane I have (and love) for a Mooney and I won't like it. So.... I was wondering if there is anyone in SE Michigan that I could tag along with. Perhaps a Saturday morning breakfast run or something like that - I'll buy, even pitch in fuel. 13. Flying over the lake isn't too much different than flying in IMC with low ceilings. Lose an engine in IMC and you may be able to reach an airport but if not you are kinda out of luck. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
