  1. Seems like the number thrown around most often is to stay above 90 for cognitive function. I don't know what you have to go to that would eventually cause damage
  2. I find my altitude tolerance changes a lot with my cardio health. Last year I spent a lot of time hiking in and around the 12-14k range and I could monitor my o2 and be fine at 13,5 with little to no flow, this year I've been working too much and haven't been getting the exercise, and my o2 demands show it. A lot of people quick to jump to hypoxia, is it not possible he had some other sort of health problem that incapacitated him? Heart attack, stroke, who knows.
  3. Flying myself into the poor house a little at 50hrs so far
  4. I think our k has ruined me for na aircraft I see closer to 800fpm at 36" high rpm and about 110kias
  5. I carry one. It's nice to share my tracks with people and a little more reliable than flightaware if going VFR
  6. Just because they know where you are doesn't mean they can get to you right away. Especially out west here.
  7. any thoughts on these? https://preciseflight.com/safety/shop/product/aviators-rescue-ruck-survival-backpack-kit/ I think I could put my own together for less.
  8. down to 3.68 now. You better believe I'll be flying my ass off this fall.
  9. I figured there was a particular size to look for maybe
  10. I have seen the CB door seal, is there a CB window seal? It kills me to pay $20 for 10" of weather strip from aircraftdoorseals.com
  11. my thoughts exactly.
  12. I always assumed it had to do with the oil cooler somehow
  13. I really know nothing on the subject and would like to learn but is usually the same, whatever the poster is running is the best choice and tell rest sucks.
  14. 4.53 self serve here. Still can't complain really.
  15. this exact thread was discussed about 1 month ago, I tried to find it but the search engine is maddening to try and filter what I want so I gave up. We use aeroshell 100
  16. they have it working but the unit they are using is pretty delicate.
  17. kind of watching to see if they get a little more robust AHRS going. I had the stuff on order and then figured I had other things to spend $100 on so I'll wait a bit.
  18. the red flag is internet weather. see at the bottom where it says ADSB-OK? Also the METARS say they were received from ADSB
  19. you're going to wait a long time at TEX for CD or ground to get back to you. Especially on denver center's freq.
  20. he could very easily be going to denver and be on a 15 minute delay.

I did. Because the thread had already started to devolve into a direction you seem intent on forcing it, and because I got tired of explaining everything 2 or three times because people didn't actually bother to read my question. I mentioned SEVERAL times in the thread I had already contacted paul. The original question really had nothing to do with him, it had to do with getting our plane fixed. I had already explained the entire situation but nobody bothered to read it. Quote No, one phone call didn't resolve the problem, one phonecall got him to agree to fix it. One phonecall doesn't get the plane to MN. Along with some mention about "some guy bashing him" on the internet, which I suspect is probably your doing. He did however offer to pay for fuel, which I won't allow. Here was his original replay back in July. later it was implied, or I understood it to be implied, to have an A&P service the gaskets when he said "any msc should have them". When our A&P quoted us 10 hours of labor to replace the gaskets I came here to ask about it. THAT WAS THE POINT OF THIS THREAD Since you seem intent on not beleiving and/or reading, here, here is that email also.
  23. I think the market for those concentrators will be in compressing o2 to fill tanks. I know they already sell something g like that but they're like 6k

I had already emailed him months ago.
  25. said they won't sell it with just the scott adapter, since the adapters are like $100 each I can probably get a setup elsewhere for a little less. Tanks in my area are $8.50/mo per cylinder, $16 delivery. $200 a year is a lot for the tanks. Maybe I can find them cheaper.
