looks like you get those little micro cracks around the oil door too. Those are annoying. I never figured out how to avoid them. I hope they don't paint over your static ports

technically, you're supposed to come off the VHF freq when transmitting to a mil aircraft on UHF, few do. I don't.... Mostly because the second I do I get stepped on VHF and have to play catch up to figure out who it was and what they wanted. The more I control the freq the better off I am. Also, your UHF radios sound like shit. No one can understand you. B2's are always on some whack route with 11ty zig zags and always have a request and you can never understand whatever the F it is that they want.

I have XM on the g1000 system, but I still need to make phone calls occasionally or someone can listen to whatever they want and not have to share.

I guess I'll order some. It just annoys me how insanely overpriced everything O2 related is. The mic mask they sell for 500 bucks is a 30 dollar respirator with an extra home plugged and a 30 dollar mic installed. Our o2d2 lives in the center console because there's a USB power adapter in there to power it. It's the best 1k I've spent in aviation, it doesn't save much money because we fill in the hangar but it sure saves a lot of hassle never needing O2 on the road.

I need an oxyarm for the o2d2 I just have a hard time spending the hundred bucks for a 5 dollar part. I guess I should just do it.

Our rocket had Aspens and the ifd540. It's still night and day from a Garmin perspective cirrus. Mainly in the autopilot function.

I bought a onex and didn't care for it, sent it back and got the Bose. Can't remember what I didn't like.
