Need Magneto Shop Recommendations

My mag's are coming up on their 500 hour inspection point.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a good magneto shop?

I had mine done at Select Aircraft Services in Lancaster, TX.  Contact is Aaron Reid and the phone number is: 972-227-9581

He was super to deal with, quick turn and the price was more than resonable.  I would definitely use him again!!

I had both magnetos from my 65 "C" reworked at Yuba-Sutter Aviation three years and ~200 engine hours ago, all fine since then.   See their site at http://www.y-sa.com/html/maintenance.htm

The shop I've used is Aero Accessories, Van Nuys, CA.  500 hour inspection, Bendix 25 series magnetos, $590 + shipping and our whopping CA tax [9.25%].

Excellent service and quick turn around.

Ditto on Brett's recommendation for Aaron just across the metromess from you in Lancaster.  He is Maxwell's preferred mag guy FWIW.

Just heard from Mike Busch and he sends his clients to Aircraft Magneto Service at Bainbridge Island, WA http://aircraftmagnetoservice.net/  Anyone have experience with this shop?  Also, it looks like the going rate for a Bendix mag IRAN is $300 at most shops unless they find something major.

Dugosh sent mine to Aircraft Systems in Rockford, IL for the 500 hour inspection. My next 500 hour is coming up and I'll be sending it to them again. Spoke with TJ on the telephone. My impression is they are honest, detailed and very knowledgeable.

Actually, that's who the prior owner used as well when he and mag work performed.  Sounds like there's several good options out there.

I have used Aaron at Select located at LNC, for both starters and magnetos. He is meticulous and reasonably priced.
