billy hellcat Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 Does anybody know who can service a turn coordinator for a Brittain autopilot? It’s a tc100 Evs. Tried porter strait in Tulsa and they don’t service them anymore. Thanks.

Igor_U Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 Try contact Kevin Westbrook. He was working for Brittain for years and still helps people on the list. Good luck. @Kevin Westbrook 2

He can fix them but not provide a yellow tag.Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
corn_flake Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 Yeah, trust me. I tried to repair one my self. As soon as I realized I also had to build a rig to "turn" the coordinator 360 degree with exactly 2 minutes, I say, forget it!! I should let professional handle it. Keven did great work in bring it back alive!!
N201MKTurbo Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 You could build a rate table for about $100 on Amazon.

N201MKTurbo Posted February 6 Report Posted February 6 I looked a bit, you can get 5 RPM 12V gear motor for $50. you will need to make some type of turntable and a 10/1 belt drive. I would get a lab power supply to fine tune the speed. You can calibrate it with a stopwatch. Or you can spend big bucks: https://www.ideal-aerosmith.com/products/1-2-or-3-axis-rate-and-positioning-tables/
