Wingover Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 Wanted to get more info from people who installed the JPI900/930. I see the options to buy it with fuel qty sensors. In the M20J when you have 4 fuel senders in two tanks, which option do you choose? 2 tanks or 4 tanks kit? Quote
ArtVandelay Posted December 30, 2024 Report Posted December 30, 2024 2 tanks, the 2 senders for each tank are in series. 2 Quote
0TreeLemur Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 @Wingover I love the JPI 900. One suggestion. When you calibrate fuel senders in your J as described in the installation manual- after each 8 gallons, give the plane a little shake. Sometimes the senders can get hung up in their motion when static. When my A&P and I performed that calibration I noticed that when we went from 16 to 24 gallons in the right tank, the addition of that 8 gallons didn't change the resistance much as displayed on the JPI in calibration mode. When he started adding the last 8 gallons, I noticed the resistance value jumped. 1 Quote
