saltydecimator Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 In NE Colorado. I’m on mainly pew pew forums so you can kinda check up on me… mainly I’m asking if I need to not hurt some parts that folks may want ? inwas gonna cut the tail off for wall art, wings are cut off, so not lot of value. Flaps cut, ones bent. so, not much there, but maybe something someone needs?? Quote
hammdo Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Has a SWTA 201 windshield and covers, that is nice… Quote
takair Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 There are two common locations to remove the tail, so no cutting required. The entire tail comes off with only a few bolts . You will see some covers just below the front edge of the tail. That would also give you nice mounting points and may save the tail in case you find a buyer later for another airplane. Quote
MB65E Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 Hi! I’ll take both main trailing links from above the pivots. Basically I’m after the MLG axels but it’s all one assembly. nose gear doors bent? nose truss assembly? reason for cutting it up? -Matt Quote
Slick Nick Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 That 201 windshield would probably fetch a pretty penny! Quote
M20F-1968 Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 What kind of fuel selector does it have? Is it an H&E. I am interested in it and the flap pump. John Breda Quote
saltydecimator Posted October 21 Author Report Posted October 21 So sad , has a brand new pitot cover in the seat back… i’m gonna say the rather the left elevator and the halons may or may not be worth something a little dinged up but if you got a super bad one, it might be better than what you have speech to text sorry I reread this on my laptop and correct errors Quote

KSMooniac Posted October 22 Report Posted October 22 The wheels could be worth selling if they're not corroded. Quote
Shadrach Posted October 22 Report Posted October 22 I will take the flap pump and actuator off you hands for a reasonable price. They’re not making any more of those. 1 Quote
Andy95W Posted October 22 Report Posted October 22 If the parking brake valve is marked “4200”, I’m interested. It’s on the cabin side of the firewall above the pilot’s brake pedals. Quote
Joshua Blackh4t Posted October 22 Report Posted October 22 Do you still have the wings? And did it happen to have a heated pitot? They are worth a bit. I'd be interested in one. Quote

Ya that’s steep! if anyone wants a desk etc I prob plan to section the wings once I get most of the parts off it are we gonna do like a community vote on price type of thing? I’m not trying to hose anybody, but I don’t want anybody buying them cheap and hosing anybody else ,know what I’m saying? I found right elevator and h stab It’s been sawzalled off so only useful as wall art or maybe internal , OB rip parts or fwd spars… Quote
Andy95W Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 @saltydecimator- if possible, please take a picture of the parking brake valve and reservoir. If it’s the one I’m looking for, I’ll take it and one oval inspection panel (8 hole). Thanks! Quote

Looking at the photo, possibly only the bracket/mount part is broken and the actual element might be ok. If its not obviously broken electrically, it may be repairable. Would be prepared to offer something for all the pitot parts and have a go at fixing it. 1 Quote

Do you mean you want the full length of tubing, etc. and the full length of wiring or just attached to it right there at the wing interface? Bad news on the parking brake it’s 4500 A1. Quote
saltydecimator Posted October 23 Author Report Posted October 23 Looks like the left two windows ok 1 Quote
