KIND to KDWH (Houston) Possible Trip

May have a IND to DWH trip in a couple months.   May have 3 days available for the travel.

Any special places to stop or eat along that route?

Haven't flown this route below FL350 ever :-)

Nice, i fly it multiple times per year.

CGI  -- crew car, sight seeing, casino, mural on mississippi river

KNQA -- Crew car, used to have best gas prices, nearby restaraunt with fried bologna specialty

M01  --  good gas prices, helicopters stop here for fuel, kinda interesting lining up  next to a life line or blackhawk

KUTA -- strange ghost town airport, in middle of nowhere.   used to be popular casino town but bit down hill of late

DTN  -- shreveport, crew car, casinos basically at end of runway, don't think they charge for overnight, really nice fbo

Due to weather was able to make DTN

FBO nice , line boy inbound sat on the couch in the FBO window as I chocked and tied my airplane down in 100 degree heat.

Best to try for hotel BEFORE going over the bridge (2 available) because Uber ride is a lot longer going over to the casinos. 

Easy in easy out of the airspace
