cliffy Posted February 11, 2023 Report Posted February 11, 2023 Didn't see anyone post about the Cirrus SR 22s owned and operated by Cirrus being grounded today Seems they are seeing counter weight problems in all the engines and decided to ground all their own airplanes.

Pinecone Posted February 11, 2023 Report Posted February 11, 2023 Updated guidance is that engines over 200 hours are exempt and may continue to be flown. And Cirrus only grounded the airplanes they own and stopped delivery. They cannot ground planes owned by others. Only the FAA can do that.
