Greetings! We're less than a month away from the Summit and the details are becoming important. Here's a link to some great information provided by the folks in Tampa about how to arrive and depart KTPF VFR in a safe, organized manner. Please review this information and print a copy to take with you. If you attended the AOPA Fly-In at TPF in 2017 these procedures will look really familiar.

Also please plan to patronize Atlas Aviation at TPF for your fuel needs while you're there. Atlas is one of our major sponsors and it will be awesome for us all to support them through our fuel purchases. Without their sponsorship contributions the Summit would not be happening!

Cheers,
Rick

Bumping this - please review this if you’re flying in for the Summit. There’s lots of traffic and airspace to be aware of and avoid coming into TPF. It isn’t hard, we just need to plan accordingly.

In the event of IFR weather be prepared to hold for sequencing into TPF. It will also be helpful to the folks behind you if you cancel IFR once reaching good solid VFR conditions on the approach.

Fly safely! See you in Tampa!

Cheers,
Rick
