PT20J Posted July 20, 2022 Report Posted July 20, 2022 I flew a M20J into Calistoga CA when the gliderport was in operation. It was narrow, but I don’t know the width as it varied. Wider than the wheels, though. If you can stay in your lane on the freeway, a narrow runway isn’t that much different. 1

Went skiing at Hunter Mountain in NY… before Uber was invented… Keep your eyes on the center, know how to keep the centerline lined up with the nose wheel… calculating T/O distance was the more important part of the runway experience… Getting a taxi in the middle of nowhere was a challenge… Best regards, -a- 1
