A64Pilot Posted April 3, 2022 Report Posted April 3, 2022 I have an 81 J model and the gascolator is seeping, so I think I need to have any O-rings or seals on hand prior to disassembly. According to the manuals there are two types, basically I believe one holds the bowl on with a bolt and is under the left exhaust cover and the other with a large nut and is under the panel behind the nose gear. I have the one with the nut, that’s under the panel behind the nose gear. However I’m having difficulty in interpreting what’s what in the parts manual. Does anyone have part numbers for I’m hoping the O-rings? mine seems to be seeping from the top, but I’d like to have all of the O-rings, I assume at least two, one large and one small. Thanks Quote

Thanks Does it look like this? It's an Aright 51250-9. Laser has kits for them that list the o-rings if you want to just procure the o-rings rather than buying the kit. https://lasar.com/seal-kits/complete-seal-kit-drawing-for-airight-red-51200-gascolator-airight-gascolator-seal-kit-complete Skip Quote
Guest Posted April 3, 2022 Report Posted April 3, 2022 If my memory is any good, the three piece assembly requires two MS29513-031 an a 600-403-5/8 seal washer(stat-o-seal) under the bolt. The two piece assembly requires one MS29513-137 and a MS29515-013. Quote
A64Pilot Posted April 3, 2022 Author Report Posted April 3, 2022 (edited) It looks like that, but it’s not red, it’s silver I believe and I see no data plate on it. I should have taken a picture before I put the skin on, but thought it would be an easy look up. Ragsf15e Posted April 3, 2022 Report Posted April 3, 2022 The older models have a dukes. Lasar has kits with diagrams for those too. Quote
Ragsf15e Posted April 3, 2022 Report Posted April 3, 2022 Here’s a link with pictures of a Dukes. All silver… Quote

You can check with Dan to be sure. Quote
A64Pilot Posted April 4, 2022 Author Report Posted April 4, 2022 It’s not the Duke, I’ll try to call Lasar. Quote
RobertGary1 Posted April 4, 2022 Report Posted April 4, 2022 I have that and Dan was able to provide the necessary gaskets and seals. This gets taken apart at every annual so it’s possible the seal wasn’t seated. The main gasket is pricey. Quote
