Cabin air valve

Does anyone know where a cabin air valve like this one could be purchased. I ordered one from Lasar and they called me saying that they were out of stock.  Thanks

Check with Dawson Aircraft Salvage.  They are parting out a few Mooneys and may have one.

where does it get mounted?

The usual ones are slide gates and butterfly valves…

Are you sure that is an M20F part?

I know that one. It is in the pedestal on the early Mooneys. It has a black lever arm that opens and closes it. As you can see, it is a piece of craft work by Mooney. It can be reproduced by anyone with hand tool skills and a desire. If you want Mooney to make you a new one, hold onto your wallet! They will need to get one of the retired guys from town to come in and make it.
