Yooper Rocketman Posted April 29, 2017 Report Posted April 29, 2017 I told my wife if I have to fly in primer a while before final paint I really need "Nose Art". I've had several people comment it looks "Military" in primer, so would look natural with Nose Art. I DID tell her it was going to be of this nature and she said "it's your plane, only going to temporary, do what ever you want. I think it's appropriate for the plane. Tom 14 Quote
peevee Posted April 29, 2017 Report Posted April 29, 2017 Haha make it permanent and larger when you paint it 3 Quote

XXX Posted April 29, 2017 Report Posted April 29, 2017 That's one of the best nose art pieces I've seen! 1 Quote
Bennett Posted April 29, 2017 Report Posted April 29, 2017 Geeat. Please keep it (even larger) as it is perfect for your hot rod airplane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote

That's in 5 1/2 months with lots of down time the first 3 months working out avionics bugs. It takes some serious cross country flights to get the hours with the speed this thing cruises at. Maybe another 100 hours and I'll actually be proficient in it. Tom 3 Quote
peevee Posted April 29, 2017 Report Posted April 29, 2017 I think on second thought the art ruins it. Better just give it to me so you don't have to worry about it anymore. 2 Quote
Jerry 5TJ Posted April 30, 2017 Report Posted April 30, 2017 The keg should be labeled "Jet-A" 2 Quote
bradp Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 I thought that thing already had nose art with the Pt6 hanging out in front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Quote
carusoam Posted May 1, 2017 Report Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) 1) The artwork is beautiful! 2) It's size needs some help. I had to use the pinch and zoom on the iPad. So I have a feeling what the right size needs to be. 3) Temporary for the time line...? I'm OK with that too, since we are all only here temporarily. Could be a few decades before the next paint job.
