Looking for mechanic WI / ORD / Kenosha area

I'm in Eau Claire so probably not much help, but I go to Jason in Benson, MN. I would think there would be plenty of help in the Chicago area.

If you don't have any luck around Chicago John Miller is a very experienced Mooney mechanic. He is above Green Bay in Iron Mountain Kubick Aviation.

Thanks Jack. MN is a popular Mooney state!  I'll check it out. Setting up a pre buy and would love to have a Mooney expert on the job.

I would second John Miller at Kubick Aviation.  Been working on Mooney's a long time.  He's got guys following him from other areas of Wisconsin since he moved back to KIMT.

There a MSC at 06C Schaumberg, IL. Northwest Flyers. I have never used them but have heard good things about them.

Hi, Welcome! What Model and Year Mooney? Who has worked on it in the past recently? What times etc are on the airplane? Also, what type of work do you need accomplished.

I used NW Flyers for my pre-buy. Gene was straight forward and took me around the M20E I'm buying. I am supposed to pick it up Monday?

Thanks guys. I found a mechanic who works for Sunshine Aircraft on the field. His name is Howie and has experience with Mooneys. I've been through the books a few times and everything looks good. We will find out soon. How did the purchase go Stetson20???

Flew it home last week. CFI Checkout completed today. Loving it!
