Beautiful aircraft

Mooneys are gorgeous airplanes, but, I saw this aircraft a few years ago in the Spencer Aircraft hangar at Pierce County Airport in Puyallup, WA and fell in love with it.  What are your favorite planes?  http://supersolutionproject.blogspot.com

Looks like they artfully designed a plane starting with the prop and working backwards towards the tail.

The web link is an interesting read, but couldn't find any information on the engine and prop that they used?

I think my favorite was Jim Wright's & Steve Wolf's H1 racer they built together. It was a work of art. Another sad story of the airplane taking the builders life way before their actual death. There is a certain obsession some of these builders have. It eventually fully consumes them. But enough depressing talk...

Big Steve Wolf fan overall.

Howard, DH-2, Spartan Executive, and Staggerwing are high on the list too. It's gotta have some wood, english sheetmetal skins, and polished something. Wait a minute... all of those have radials on them too.

I don't think any aviator could ever pick just one favorite. Maybe a weekly favorite... Or daily favorite. 

Maybe I could pick a favorite in each row at Oshkosh.

Its Just not possible!!

I like my Mooney...she is not perfect, she may be getting old (like myself) but I still would not trade her...However, if you ask me to chose a newer plane, I would go for a new Mooney...

As pilots we seem to like most planes and love not a few. 

Me, I have lust in my heart to fly almost any fixed wing plane.  Except the pre-1920 ones at Old Rheinbeck:  I'd rather watch someone else fly those.
