Missing my Mooney

Traveling through B.C. and Alberta in the 5th wheel, sure do miss my Mooney, could have been to where I was going days ago.

Proof positive that there are pros and cons to any type of travel.  Bet the Mooney wouldn't sleep nearly as comfortably.

We're doing almost the same thing right now but a little more on the primitive side. We are in Denver now but headed back home to Cincinnati this afternoon. Our traveling accommodation is a 1958 14ft Comet we resorted a few years ago.

I miss my Mooney and Motorhome, but I am on a government sponsored 'vacation' 4915NM on the wrong side of the globe.  Hopefullly this fall, I will be able to take them both out for some enjoyment.

I think it's about 10 ft on the inside. We gutted the inside and I let my wife do whatever she wanted with the inside. She did a pretty nice job in there. If I had photos available I'd show the inside but we are on the road crossing or about to start driving across Kansas.

Ok Kris, here's a few of the outside. I know it's not a Mooney but it is a toy.

Nels, that is really sweet.  My wife would absolutely love that (so do I).  She won't tent camp with me but I think she'd be up for this for sure.

Kris, what convinced my wife it was a great idea was the bed bug problems at motels. This way she sleeps in her own bed every night we travel. She also ended up joining "Sisters on the fly". Look up that site and show it to your wife.

We got my daughter in Denver hooked also. She and her husband have a photo booth business out there called "Picture Me Camping". We restored a 1956 Leisure Home made into a photo booth. They do wedding and stuff, even did a wedding for one of the Denver Broncos.

This is my idea of camping, but it is for sale. Let me know if anyone wants a nice pusher.

Those are nice but just too big for the places we end up going. Does it have a hangar on the back? Haha

Brandon--that's doing it right! Expanded tent, chairs, kids and the dog, too.

You can't see the air mattress, cooler and power supply on the inside. That's as close as we get to roughing it.

I understand your feelings,mine is in Longview Tx for the last week and will be there until 7-12, I'm going through withdrawel
