Hey guys some of you know me and some dont but ill share a little about me, Im 18 currently in school, my family has a 1967 M20F that I love flying the dickens out of! Im currently around 500tt with around 30multi time, my goal for the summer is to work for a company in Lauderdale that flys twins and requires 100multi. I was posting this to see if anyone knew where I could rent a multi for not an arm and a leg, or if anyone on here has a multi that they would like a flying buddy who would pay for the gas? Happy New Year guys!

There are some programs out there where you can buy a block of multiengine time in 50 hours blocks. Normally they pair you with another pilot and one acts as safety pilot while the other flys. I believe you are both able to log the time as PIC since one is under the hood. That is going to be the fastest, cheapest way of doing it short of getting it for free though an employer.

Do a google search for multi engine time building. I found one showing $90.00 an hour rates (http://www.hlflight.com/time-building.html).

I think it is in your best interest to ignore the advice from the poster above. Filling your logbook with fraudulent flight time can cost you your dream.

If you were in Tampa I'd say we get together and find a nice old Apache and burn some holes in the clouds with it.

I found one with two just overhauled engines for like 40k one day.  It is gone.  I know it sounds crazy but I really like the idea of a twin and would enjoy building time in one.

I don't suspect the implication was that the pen is to be used for fraudulent purposes. Rather, doing as this young pilot has done by using his pen to reach out to the community.

The pen is used to write checks for aircraft rentals.  Hopefully you have the money in the back to back up the check.

Oh also useful for writing down ATC clearances.
