tls pilot Posted December 9, 2015 Report Posted December 9, 2015 Recently installed on a Lycoming, the Sky Tec 149 NL EC super heavy duty extended cranking starter. Wanted to post this on Bravo site. Sorry for duplicate blog... What a huge difference this starter makes over the lighter weight Sky Tec starter! It is slightly longer and slightly heavier. You will feel and hear the difference on your starts. The Sky Tec team really produced a great product. It really cranks and turns faster than even the earlier Sky Tec starters!!! Highly recommend this starter. Quote
