Norm G Posted January 26, 2015 Report Posted January 26, 2015 I'm in need of a alt air control cable for my 1968 M20F. Thanks, Norm G Quote
par Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 I had a similar issue with my carb heat cable that needed to be replaced. Mooney did not have one available for months and it was very pricy. So, I went to aircraft spruce and ordered a carb heat cable for a Cessna at a fraction of the cost. You may want to go this route as well if you can't find an OEM replacement. Quote
KSMooniac Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 McFarlane is likely your best source for a new one if you can't find a used one. Quote
RobertGary1 Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 I suppose you're talking about the ram air cable as the alternate air door is automatic and controlled by a spring in the cowling. -Robert Quote
