I had an amp in my KMA24 go bad, and it turned out to be a capacitor.  I couldn't hear incoming calls through my headset.  The local shop charged me around $350 a few years ago, but they also repaired a marker beacon at the time.

I have a KMA 24 that was removed when I updated my panel a few years ago. Was working fine at that time. I'll dig it out tonight and send you the details.

I almost bought one on eBay. Then a king dealer convinced me to bring it in. Turned out to be a broken solder joint. All fixed. Thanks anyhow guys.
