IndyTim Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Anyone going? I am signed up, but I notice that MSF requires a minimum of 25 attendees. This would be my first PPP. Are they typically a "go"? Quote
Hank Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 I've been twice. They usually have pretty good communication before and after. It's a good experience. Quote
BTR Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 I just signed up for this one. It will be my first. I've heard nothing but good reviews about this program. I tried to call and ask what airport and hotel it would take place, but the office is closed on Fridays. I'm looking forward to it. Quote
IndyTim Posted August 17, 2014 Author Report Posted August 17, 2014 I hope we get sufficient attendance - been looking forward to this for a few months. My local FAA examiner, Brian Morgan, is one of the PPP instructors. Branson should be lovely this time of year. If you're a fisherman, come early or stay late. Lots of bass in Table Rock, and Lake Taneycomo has world record browns and some really nice rainbow. And, of course, there is also Gaston's fly-in resort just a few minutes from Branson by air: http://www.gastons.com/ Quote
IndyTim Posted August 17, 2014 Author Report Posted August 17, 2014 Does anyone know if they offer a "pinch hitters" program, for spouses (spice?) and other interested parties? Quote
Jeff_S Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 I'm seriously considering it but need a few other pieces of the puzzle to fall into place first. I expect I'll make a final decision about a month before the event. Quote
