jezzie Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 I have been approached by some investors to build some hangers at a local airport here in Edmonton. I have found Erect-a-tube in Harvard Il. and another member suggested R&M Steel in Idaho. I have also seen a carousel type hanger in Fargo ND. If anyone has experience or any information please let me know. Thanks Eldon Quote
Mooney65E Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 I dealt with R&M years ago after weeding through several others. They seemed to have the overall best product for the price staffed with a team of professionals. I'd also recommend having a bifold door installed where plans will allow. I enjoy pushing that button and watching that door slowly reveal my shiney bird. Quote
ray Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 I live on 27az eagleroost airpark and there are probably 35-40 r&m steel hangers they are a good product. I have a Bunger steel building 50'x60' built in Phoenix Arizona almost same product only reason I bought from them is that they were local I would put out bid to both of these companys. Quote
KSMooniac Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 If you're open to door suggestions, check out Hydroswing doors instead of sliding or bi-fold options...they seem to be the gold standard now. http://www.hydroswing.com/ Quote
jezzie Posted June 28, 2010 Author Report Posted June 28, 2010 Thank you for all your help, quotes for T-hangers are coming in slowly. I will be leaving in about 2 weeks and traveling by car from Edmonton to Oshkosh. Typically I cut across country to Minot ND, then over to Minneapolis then Oshkosh. If any one out there knows of any good hanger complexes that I can take a look at while enroute let me know. Even if it is some what off the normal route I would consider it. Of course I will de doing my due diligence while at Air Venture, I may be directed else where then. Our group is serious about providing a good product and service for the general aviation community in the Metro Edmonton area and subregional area. I envision a good mix of Corporate, GA, and Homebuilders facilities. Thank you Eldon Quote
