I had my airplane painted not too long ago and decided to take the opportunity and change the reg number. I had reserved new one online with OK.

 

When it came time for new number to be painted on the airplane I called the Philadelphia FSDO and spoke to a gentleman about it. I received right back in my email the form 8050-64 to complete with pertinent instructions.

 

I emailed back the completed form, copy of current AW cert, and work order from paint shop.

 

A couple days later I had in my mailbox new reg and AW cert.

 

Excellent and painless service. Thank you FAA!

Stop the presses? I get that everyday mail shows up in my mailbox from all over the world...
