Oshkosh: The Mooney Ambassadors have been chosen to present a workshop at Oshkosh on Friday July 30th, 2:30-3:45 p.m. at the GAMA Pavilion 2.

This will be a multimedia presentation describing how the Mooney Ambassodors seek to meet their three-part mission:

Support Mooney Airplane Company

Promote General Aviation

Have Someplace Wonderful to Fly

Please attend if you can.  We are hoping to have a good showing.  We believe that this is the only Mooney-specific presentation going on at AirVenture this year.  And we hope to inspire folks to promote General Aviation to the flying and non-flying public.

We do have several events before OshKosh:

Eagle Mountain Airshow - Porterville, CA June 12th 2010
We will be doing our Mooney Ambassador display to the public. There will be airshow acrobatics, fly-bys, static displays, etc.
We can arrive early in the week and camp out. There are shower facilities available at the airport. In order to insure us being in the same display area we should try and get as many of us as possible to fly in at the same time. Friday evening, June 11th will be a fun evening at The TuleAero hanger with much going on. The basic theme for this year's event is Porterville Salutes the 1950s. If possible, maybe we can come in at least by Friday for the fun. For the airshow, fly-in folks get in free. Point Person: Mitch Latting

Columbia, CA Father's Day Fly- In June 19 - 20, 2010. Mooney Ambassadors will display. This a such a fun event for aviation. Camping at the "airplanes only" campground. Walk into the historic town of Columbia. Well attended by the public. A wonderful opportunity to talk up Mooney and General Aviation. We will have two airplanes in the display area.

Reid-Hillview Airport Day, KRHV June 26th, 2010. The details are on the main page of the RHVAA:http://www.rhvaa.org/   In general, folks can show up almost any time and be able to get to the display area (to one side of it at least). The field does close, usually 12-1pm or so. Point Person: Michael Coyle

KAID 50th Anniversary Anderson Airport, Indiana July 10, 2010 Mooney Ambassadors will be on display at this fun home-town fly in featuring Young Eagles and a free breakfast for fly-in pilots.  There is camping on the field, a fuel discount, balloon rides and no fees!  Point Person: Dave Keller

Please join Mitch Latting and Jolie Lucas for the presentation: PGA Squared: Promote General Aviation, Protect G.A. Airports on Thursday July 28th at 10:00 a.m.  at the EAA Museum's Vette Theatre.

Attendees will gain an understanding of promoting General Aviation to the flying and non-flying public, which in turn protects our General Aviation airports. This fast-paced and lively presentation is sure to give ideas, encouragement and motivation to let others know about the benefits of General Aviation.

We hope to see many of our friends in the audience. Please share this announcement with those who might be interested.

See you at AirVenture!

Mitch and Jolie
