I wonder what the story is on it.

 

I think "sitting outside in Florida" and "some surface corrosion" says it all. Sad.

Yep... original radios, nothing there... might be good for a flight school to do some complex training.  Fly it until until you need an engine and part it out or sell it for not much less than you paid for it.

This J has had a couple of gear up incidents. 2001 and 2005...same owner both times. then after he sold it it went to the west coast.

It is clearly acknowledged in the description, and I thought the general Mooneyspace consensus was that a properly repaired gear up is better than new.  To inspect in the pre buy if it was done properly….

The comment was more about the previous owner then the aircraft itself.
