DonMuncy Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Are there others here who listen in to Mike Busch's webinars. I was ready for one tonight, but after digging around a bit, I find it has apparently been rescheduled for October 30. Maybe I missed the notice. Quote

If it's a FAA Wings talk, it's over cause of govt shutdown. Quote
DonMuncy Posted October 3, 2013 Author Report Posted October 3, 2013 No, it is an EAA sponsored, Mike Busch presenter, webinar. A minute after I made the original post, I received the usual email from the webinar folks, which ultimately told me it had been rescheduled. For anybody that is not aware, Mike Busch does a batch of these for EAA, on a monthly basis, with archives for all the older ones. I am a big Mike Busch fan, and think he is extremely knowledgeable about almost all areas of engine problems and maintenance. If you are interested, you can find these on the EAA website as well as googling Saavy Aviation. Quote
Rwsavory Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 I'm a fan as well. But I usually listen to the webinars after they are archived. Quote
BigTex Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 +1. I like to listen live as well... I just forgot it was the first Wednesday! Guess I didn't miss it. He's speaking several times at AOPA's Summit next week so that might be why he didn't have his usual webinar. Quote
mike_elliott Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 If it's a FAA Wings talk, it's over cause of govt shutdown. Most wings seminars still go on, FAA takes the credit, but it is the FAASteam reps, the unpaid volunteers, who organize and put them on. The FAA doesn't spend any $ on most of them. This particular one was sponsored by EAA and should not have been affected by the governments inability to govern properly. Getting a title search done on an airplane to buy, well now that's a different story Quote
