  1. Garmin sounds like a much better deal than Jepp. One question, I unlocked the approach chart feature for Jepp on my 750, do I need to do anything to see the NOAA charts?
  2. I had a Weldon installed two three years ago and it works great. Sorry my ignorance, you have a manual turbo? What does it mean?
  3. Look guys we had some fun, now let it be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I adopted mine in 2002. Since then I flew it for 1000 hours and did several upgrades and an engine overhaul. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. High pressure at low power settings. But again it is in the range of 6.1 to 6.5.
  6. I am experiencing the same situation with my JPI 900, specially with regard to the high fuel pressure. However, I don't see any low power fluctuations. I am monitoring the situation, so if you find out what is going on let me know please.
  7. Only if Marauder provides the pics. Let's not distort our markets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Prayers and our thoughts are with their families. Be careful out there...keep your eyes outside, specially in the pattern...TCAS, ADS B and whatever other gadgets we may love don't substitute our eyes! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Welcome to the site and for having purchased one of the best airplanes in the world (if not the best). I agree the JPI 900 is the best option. Just to share my experience with you. I installed a JPI 830 as a "secondary", while I kept the rest of the original gauges. However, over time my JPI started to show some differences with the steam gauges. It made me very nervous. I started to doubt both... So I decided to bite the bullet and upgraded to a 900. Indeed it takes about 40 hours to install (but it also takes 40 hours to install a 830...), but it is worth while every dollar. What I really like is having all the information in one place just in front of you. If something is out of sync a light comes up and alerts you. Really one of the best upgrades that can be made to your Mooney.
  11. As long as it is handy... no problem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Marcus, welcome on board! I fly a M20C. I love my plane... however if I could do it all over again i would have tried to get a J model. More space, useful load and stronger engine.
  13. Nice video Mike. I agree the AOA is a great addition. I also got so accustomed to it that I fly patterns and approaches mainly by reference to the AOA. I found an older video I made showing a landing with a different kind of AOA.
  14. 460 a month for a T hangar, no heat but electricity with sliding doors, at KGAI in MD, close to Washington DC. Oscar
  15. LOL, I like my C model. Easy to handle... but at the same time substantive.
  16. If you fly out of the Washington DC area you have to talk to ATC always... So, it is in a way easier to just file IFR.
  17. Extremely interesting. Thank you
  18. Absolutely... and I thought that my new Lego airplane was cool....
  19. Pm me happy to help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
