    I am guessing, the auto pilot is an S-Tech 50, that those are probably removed already? Thanks for the conversation kit tip.

    Wow. Thank you for that. Now a specific question. Fmodel with two G5's, 430w, 530, JPI-700, what needs to be done wiring wise, GPS wise, PFD wise, retractable step, etc, etc. I'm sure there is more to it than just the hardware. Thanks for the links.

    Assuming you have the correct electronics to remove the vacume pump, what exactly is the procedure and need-to-do's to complete the job?

    I think we have been down this road, unless I have missed an update. The STC holder passed away. The widow had no desire nor inclination to support the STC, nor would she sell it. I think thats the gist of it. Did I miss something?

    Good morning Bryan. An Mooney F model I'm looking at to buy has a 430w and a 530. Two G5's, ADS out only Garmin transponder, JPI monitor, and an S-Tech 50 A/P. What would be your recommendation to make this panel "more" modern? Thanks David

    I was wondering the same thing. Can't be many. $40,000 for a "new" engine $30,000 for some semblance of modern avionics? Tank reseal I'm sure. Labor dollars not included. An A/P project of love....
