  1. Yeah, he's a good man. I bought my Bravo from him over the phone from Tucson. Never saw the plane. Ron Fisher, the mechanic also did a good job and helped me out. Good people,
  2. Glad pilot and passengers are safe,
  3. I've used Air Power and like their prices and service. I've heard similar time frames from others. Just making sure I'm not missing anything. Appreciate the info.
  4. Who did you use and how far in advance did you start the process?
  5. And you got the harbor freight moving blanket to match!
  6. What kind of flakey A/P behavior? Curious. On long cross country flights I have to reset from time to time.
  7. Fly over and see Edison.
  8. Did you repair or replace? If repair do you mind sharing how you repaired? I have a couple of splits in the front, nothing on the alternator and I have a slightly high cyl temp #1. Everything else is spot on. Thanks.
  9. How was the flight?
  10. Starlink Mini roam today 12/21/24 in a Bravo. All good till I busted the sound barrier lol
  11. Yes, my 1989 Bravo is also 24 volts
  12. 42lbs is a big deal!
  13. I love that turtle wax product, and have used it for years BUT I found this product about year ago and its a cheaper alternative and I reuse the turtle wax bottle: https://a.co/d/1UEbC63
  14. Mine is loud, too! I need to do this,
  15. AA80 InterVOX.pdf Thanks, going to have it all checked out next week. The avionics shop believes it's the old NAT intercom unit, and those aren't made any longer.
  16. Happening to me right now, I can still use my speakers, PTT hand mic and plug my headphones into the emergency headphone jack. Got an appointment to replace the old NAT intercom and King KMA 24 out with something modern. Does anyone have any recommendations for a audio panel that allows one to adjust specific frequencies, like push up 4K HZ, etc? (too many drums, rock and roll, guns, and cockpits !!!! )
  17. Agree, those oil changes every 25 are important!
  18. I think something could be off. I was 16,5 from Moore County TX after a fuel stop from Ohio to Tucson and 27 / 2250 TIT 1580 with the flaps cracked open slightly with my number one at 385. I Even backed off to 24 / 2250 because of the good speed I was achieving. Even on climb outs in AZ heat, I usually climb 700 fpm, bringing the engine MP to 32-33 after take off and still keep the #1 under 400. I try to keep TIT 1585 and below on this engine.
  19. Hey Patrick, my Bravo is located at Tucson International. I'm familiar with these settings. I'm headed back from Ohio tomorrow, and I'm always back and forth between Louisiana and Ohio. Hit me up if you need anything. These are awesome planes!
  20. Do nothing, fly it and save the money for you're next MOH,
  21. Yeah man, I asked Don Maxwell a few months back when I replaced my old noisy Plessey actuator on my Bravo with a brand new Eaton actuator, "About how much more time you think this old Plessey will work?". Don replied, "till it don't". Glad your gear was down.
  22. Getting to anything on this engine is a PITA
