  2. those don't make any sense to me at all Cruise climb @34/24 @1000FPM and 130KIAS? no way En Route Descent @165+ ? redline is 165 at Sea Level. Much lower at an altitude at which you'd do a high-speed descent

The software hasn't been released yet (from Oceanic), but it is supposedly limited to 130' (recreational diving limit). Which raises another question: why did Foreflight drop support for the apple watch???

  7. we did this with both of our planes. There are a number of CA tax experts that do this, and Medford airport always has a bunch of CA planes docked there.

  12. its not just the cash outlay, but also my time. I spent 3 hours yesterday investigating where to buy/rent bottles, where i can get then filled, how to manage them in my hangar, what kind of transportation and filling equipment I would need, etc., and I still didn't get all my questions answered. I could have been billing my client or playing X-plane instead.
  13. Seems like if I'm trying to reduce the frequency of (on-board) O2 fills, it would be less hassle (although more expensive) to buy a Mountain High O2D2 than it would be to source and buy/rent equipment to do my own fills.

  16. I have stopped using IAS climbs because of the oscillations. Now using onlly VS in climb. over the weekend, we used VNAV mode and saw the following oscillations. Switched to VS descent and no oscillations. Tagging @TrekLawler

I had the LHS installed last winter and it has been relatively useless for me because of the way it was installed ad the way the audio panel works on the GTN750xi, not because of the unit itself (that I can tell) 1. in order to have the LHS annunciate, COM3 must be monitored. the audio panel on the GTN750 is such that it requires a whole bunch of buttons to be pressed. Lets say I'm talking to approach on COM1, and have tower on COM1 standby. I am monitoring LHS on COM3. Now I dial in the ATIS on COM2 and am monitoring that. The 750 audio panel annunciator show "MIC 1" and "MON 1 2 3", which is correct. i copy down the atis, and I tap the MON button to turn of COM2, and both COM2 and COM3 disappear, and there goes my LHS callouts. now I have to go back and turn on mintoroing for COM3. all this happens a fairly critical phase of phlight. 2. the audio from the LHS is almost inaudible
  18. I usually descend in favorable conditions at 25/24, but I am wondering if anyone is descending at a lower prop settings to keep the airspeed under control
