M20F autopilot, seeking advice

The GI275 can control the GCF500. -
This '96 MSE that has been on controller.com has an Aspen, one GI275 next to it, and the GFC500 autopilot. How were they able to do that? I also have an interest in this. https://www.controller.com/listing/for-sale/245297647/1996-mooney-m20j-mse-piston-single-aircraft

Sunday was a great day to visit Microlights expo (LSA machines) in France, I am very impressed by the new shinny "250 ULM/LSA": they can fly at FL250 or 250ft agl doing 250kts speeds, unfortunately at 250k€ they are still beyond my budget, I can get an Ovation or Encore for that price Return flight was done IFR over Paris, we wanted to overfly Disney, our flat and see Melun airshow from 70000ft but ATC want us at 5000ft before being vectored away: two Pitts were using all the airspace in their RAT at the way to 5500ft !! Kid waiting for the "mini-train" Route over Disney in East of Paris, Disney, On ILS for Toussus (LFPN)

Brittain autopilot equipment list

Yeah I'll have the shop correct anything with the TC but it would be nice to at least verify whether it's the TC that needs adjustment or the rigging. The avionics shop also shares a hangar with a mechanic. He said it'll work as the 375 can output the analog mv left/right signals. Current upgrade budget is going into new audio/com1 (par200b), CDI, and GPS so I can get my IR training done. If I can get it to follow a GPS course that'll do for now. Still looking for an Accuflite... -

No Joy on Landing Gear Extension - J Model

The F model has a Ford 8N 4 pole tractor relay in it. -
I believe this is the switch you are looking for: NKK switch part No. MB2061SS1W01-CC You can just use the cap to replace yours. The cap is a screw on as you probably found out the hard way. Not sure if one can get the button only, but the entire switch is $12 from TTI so it may be worth it even if you do not use the switch. https://www.tti.com/content/ttiinc/en/apps/part-detail.html?partsNumber=MB2061SS1W01-CC&mfgShortname=NKK&utm=ga-shop1&utm_term=nkkmb2061ss1w01-cc&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=1147404620&gbraid=0AAAAADvyBAbKzFqGooAmvtqZHrFicDT9_&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx5n37ODKjwMVBSlECB0jrjtwEAQYASABEgKI0_D_BwE

No Joy on Landing Gear Extension - J Model
flyboy0681 replied to Brent's topic in Modern Mooney Discussion
I had the same problem about three years ago and called around to MSC’s throughout the country to no avail. In the end I found the assembly right down the road from me at Premier. I caught hell here for paying $2,400 and not replacing the relays individually (one comment suggested using a relay from a tractor). I feel I did the right (and legal) thing. -

1971 M20C - Electric Gear Failed to Lower
Hank replied to oisiaa's topic in Vintage Mooneys (pre-J models)
My only gear trouble was after an electrical failure; a component on the circuit board behind the panel rheostar blew and took out everything electric on approach just after breaking out and turning inbound, and the second time the alternator died, flaps went down slowly, couldn't transmit and then gear didn't move. Both times, emergency extension worked just fine. But like I did, you'll have to investigate to find the root cause. Good luck! -
I got my KX-165 back from Ed a month ago and it is just like brand spanking new. Maybe better than new with the LED display.

The other threads will be useful, but yours may be wired slightly differently. You should look at the wiring diagram in the electrical schematic for your year group. It is probably in the end of the maintenance manual. You definitely have some type of limit switches in those can be a common source of failure. -
What did your leather upholstery do to anger you

Digitized and linked TOC on my EFBs the paper is in a pretty leather binder I got off Etsy and it is never touched plane two does not have a POH
-
I have my #2 connected directly to the KI-204 and my RMI, while my #1 goes through a KN-72 nav converter then into the KI-525 HSI. My plane came with pretty much the entire silver crown setup installed. I even still have the original ADF and DME! Both of my KX-155's are the same part number, they are interchangeable. I assume they both have built in resolvers?

Fair, I’d feel the same!

100% POH/AFM trumps all *if your plane has one -
LOL, some work a little slower than others, no reason to RUSH into anything someone must have done something to bring the post forward....BUT, if he's still looking for an aluminum binder, this should help him out

@Matthew P Uh, you do realize you're commenting on a 13 year old post from a member that hasn't posted here since June of 2023

LOL! I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I was CERTAIN it would work with my CDI head. I've gotten mixed messages as to if I can replace a KX-155 with a KX-165 without issue. Too chicken to chance it!
