It has been used for frequent coast-to-coast trips and has proven to be a reliable means of transportation. It is equipped for serious IFR flying. Typical of most Mooney’s of this vintage it cruises at 158 knots on 11.5 GPH at 6,000’. The airplane has 1,600 TT and approximately 600 hours SMOH. The overhaul was performed in 2009. My partner and I have owned the airplane since 2007 and we have the logbooks since new. The airplane is well equipped, Installed Equipment Garmin 430WAAS Garmin 396 with XM weather Collins Com2 & Nav2 with GS Collins Audio Panel w/MB WX-10 Stormscope Century II autopilot (heading and nav tracking) Electric trim Fuel Flow & Totalizer RCA 2600 backup electronic attitude indicator Davtron Clock Horizon Digital Tach PMA1000 intercom Other Rosen Sunvisors SkyTec lightweight starter Plane Power alternator Concorde AGM battery Retrofit Shoulder harnesses (Alpha) Landing gear overhauled, including gear motor and new biscuits (2011) Tank reseal in 2012 by Weep-no-More Paint is original but is in fairly good condition.
