laytonl Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 I'm considering an avionics upgrade and I am interested in shops others have used in the NC, SC, and GA areas. This will be either an Aspen install or a Garmin 500, plus a few other goodies. Any suggestions on shops? Lee
Bob_Belville Posted July 20, 2013 Report Posted July 20, 2013 Lee, I am happy with my panel done by Robbie Greer @ Twin Lakes Avionics, 8A7. Aspen, GTN 750, JPI 930, GDL 88 and new panel. Everything worked from day one with no call back. Our hanger mate Wayne Hollar has had a good bit done there as well. Bob

DrBill Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Like Bob, I too use Robbie Greer at Twin Lakes Airport. Most of the people at my airport use him as well. Currently doing a complete 750 upfit for a friends 182. I recently had him install the JPI 450 that I bought from Bob during his upgrade. When they were done, they gave me a list of other things they found that I should have my A&P look at at next annual. I really appreciated that. I'll be going back to him when I need anything and I'm thinking of going with ADS-B to my Garmin 430. BILL
