skeptic Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 I am seeking a nice, clean Mooney 201 M20J for immediate purchase. I would prefer a late 80's or MSE model, but all 201's will be considered. Must be in excellent mechanical condition and have complete maintenance and repair records. Please respond via PM if you have an aircraft that you might be interested in selling. I will require a pre-purchase inspection by a mechanic having Mooney experience. Thank you! Quote
OR75 Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 I had to check aso.com, barnstormers, trade-a-planeI. I started to worry that all the aircraft inventory was gone. 1 Quote

jetdriven Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 I have an EVIL friend around here who wants me to sell my MSE so I can join him up in the flight levels in an Encore.. That would be like selling your wife or dog! Quote
fantom Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 That settles it, guys. No Encore for me! Quote
carusoam Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 Upgrading from one Mooney to the next is perfectly acceptable as long as the improvement includes increased body length or turbo charger... Going from a J to an R or M is good....a TN would be better. J to K/ Encore kinda good. Better if flying in the mountains often. Gary, Flying around Florida probably won't see the value as much... Did the Encore have better avionics than the current ride? My thoughts anyway... -a- Quote
fantom Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 Newer and pretty glass....better is debatable. All American has it listed. G500, back up AI and some other nice stuff. About 1600 hours and the 'dreaded' damage history. Folded the nose gear, but repaired by Dugosh, IIRC. Nice plane, but I'd rather have a new Porsche ;-) Quote

cbflyer Posted January 31, 2013 Report Posted January 31, 2013 I just joined and replied in the blog section by mistake. If you're still looking for the perfect 201 I have your bird. Rather than repeat everything just go to the blogs. This AC is not yet listed for sale so the early bird might get the worm. Not quite ready to let it go but if the right buyer comes along maybe. Quote
