johnggreen Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Randy, From the few specs you list, you are offering a very nice airplane at a very reasonable price. I wish you the best with finding the real buyers. I just posted a thread on "the thrill of the buy and the agony of the sale". Actually, I did it a little tongue in cheek and with a smile, but there is a lot of truth in it. Good luck. Jgreen Quote
randypugh Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 Don't get discouraged John, I too have been in aviation for over 30 yrs. This airplane will make someone happy. It has just about everything except TKS and AC. The reason for me to sell is I need TKS living in the great lakes area and just can't justify spending another 35 to $40,000 to add it after spending almost $70,000 on the panel. Not sure yet what will replace it since having a panel like this one has spoiled me. What twinns are you shopping? I had several over the years and found the T310R to be my favorite. I owned 2 different 310's over 20 years and found them to be the perfect family machine with storage space everywhere, lots of room, and good performance. Plus, now you can buy a lot of twin for the dollar. Keep us posted, we enjoy aviation. Quote
RocketAviator Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 Randy is this famous Romeo Delta plane of the famed race car linage? Picked up in Florida, Mark Woods was the broker? I may be all wet and off in left field it just seemed like it must be with the low hours. If so I was also in the running to buy this plane the day you were on the way to Florida to check it out. I made a standby offer for more than you are selling it for now!!! At that time it had only about 480 hrs. I felt like I had looked into every Bravo, Rocket, Ovation, Acclaim Mooney there was.... I know I did not but it sure felt like it!! Good luck if this is the same airplane Mark said this was a great rare opportunity with such low hours and especially with all the avionics work that had done to it. 1 Quote
