Marc_B Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 https://generalaviationnews.com/2024/02/28/airbnb-for-hangars/ Saw this today and thought it was a great idea! Although I know that many locations require specific insurance requirements and having the airport listed on the aircraft's policy. I'm not sure if this is just a "keep on the down low" type thing, but this would be a great benefit to the aviation community at large if it was successful and widespread! Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 That wouldn’t work around here. Someone would just rent it forever. 2 Quote

PeteMc Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 I could see that working for a few weeks if you're on a long trip or while the plane was in for the Annual or a major panel upgrade. It would be nice if you're on a long X-US trip to be able to pick up a hangar for a night or a week. And if it is your hangar, I wonder if in some states you would need an iron clad agreement that you can pull the plane out of the hangar at the end of the rental period? Quote
