I’ve done a lot of googling and reading on here and from my understanding the B&C adapter will not work because the 3 inch spacer is not certified. Has anyone tried or made it work with the 2.5 inch? I know that some people have gotten field approvals for this but we don’t have that option in Canada far as I know. What other options are there? Direct from Lycoming? And why do most people recommend not going the way of a remotely located filter like the Airwolf? Thanks!
RLCarter Posted December 28, 2020 Report Posted December 28, 2020 Remote filters have multiple places they could leak or fail, I believe you can get the Lycoming adapter from Aircraft Spruce

Being from Winnipeg check with Aero Recip, you need a gasket, a stud and nut as well as the adapter. Clarence
