That's how I got my last 3rd class before switching to Basic Med. Got it documented pretty thoroughly by my usual optometrist, took that back to the AME (on their recommendation) and got it done. Because it was getting more difficult every time and this sort of thing never improves with age, I just switched to Basic Med before it became a bigger problem. Quote
