For this airplane. A guy by the name of Paul Gendron (rpmcommander)has been trying to sell this as “the perfect upgrade machine” for 45k. It doesn’t have a prop or interior. The log books are sketchy and the motor mysteriously doesn’t have a prop strike. 
 

I looked at it a few months back because I thought it might be a decent parts donor. (It wasn’t)

he’s also got some other sketchy dealings going on, so watch out.

Also beware there is a mooney imposter at Sebastion FL....I saw this today and thought a mechanic was bored and fused a Cessna with a mooney...

Not long after I got my PPL, I looked at an Aero Commander Darter that was tied down at Gnoss Field (Novato, CA about 1990). It flew about like a 172 - I wound up buying a Mooney M20C.

Hey it must do about 150kts in level flight now with the tail on correctly.:D
