I'm having some panels painted as part of the bladder installation, and I need the paint codes for the maroon/white with gold stripes.  It's not the original paint scheme, but I've seen it on other mooneys.  There's nothing in the logs, and the previous owner didn't know, either.

I'm not 100% sure that it's the exact color as the maroon/white/gold I've seen on others, but I thought I'd give it to the shop just in case.

Thanks

take the panel to an auto body shop supply. They have a scanner that will match it exactly.  Trying to look at paint codes is a waste of time, as the paint fades and doesnt match the color card anyways.

A good painter can match paint. Old paint is always faded to some degree. Paint code will only get you in the ballpark. To make it match well enough to not catch your eye will take custom blending. Just take your battery door in to be matched.
